The pattern seems to have been set the last two weeks. When the winds let us we are running to the coast and offshore for trout and when the winds are up we tuck our tails into marsh for redfish. Double rigged Matrix with Tiger Bait and Avocado have been the ticket for the trout. The trout have wanted the baits presented as slow as can be. At times we have been just letting them sit in the current and wait for the hit. The reds have been wanting the Green Hornet and Tiger Bait Matrix on a gold spinner for the most part. There has been a couple days where shrimp under a cork was the ticket so I’ve been having at least one person throwing shrimp while the others start off with spinner baits. The marsh is covered with grass so we have been targeting the reds on the grass lines.
