What else is there to do in the middle of the day when specks are slow and the tide isn’t moving? Go hunting for shallow water pumpkins. Had Dylan on the Skeeter SX230 today and we did just that after chasing specks. Matrix craws with an underspin did the trick. This bait almost seems to make them mad enough to hit it. Used the dark blue with flakes and the Chinese bandit. Trick is to slowly head into drains that lead to ponds. Have a good set of sunglasses and something to stand on.
