Had the pleasure of good friend Lamar back on board for a couple days of fishing.  The first day was windier than expected, so we decided to chase some bull reds.  Well it didn’t take long to find them and we had them coming in one after another.  After Lamar had enough, we decided to give sheepshead a try, but because of the rough seas,  we didn’t have much luck.

The second day involved plenty of what Lamar was used to, and that was catching.  Started the day off with slamming our limit of trout.  Live shrimp or Matrix shad did the trick.

Next was to the sheepshead grounds. It didn’t take long before we had them coming in one after another.  We finished the day around noon because Lamar had to get on the road and we had a box full of fish.  Good times as always and I am looking forward to next trip.

If you are going stir crazy from sitting in the house, give me a call.  We can get away from the craziness and I assure you, the fresh air on the Gulf of Mexico is covid-19 free.
