Sparkle Beetle Trout

Brett and his son Scooter came out for a quick inshore trip. We drove around to a few local spots looking for reds, but had no luck in low and muddy waters. Deciding trout may be a better option, we aimed the Bluewave in the direction of open water. It took about an hour to get the feel for the bite as well as the jigging technique down. The guys listened to instructions well and put together a decent catch of trout in a few hours using chartreuse sparkle beetles. It was a pleasure having these guys on the boat on a such a beautiful Spring day.
