BBQ Shrimp
Developed by Chef Jay Ducote Ingredients
- 1lb, 21-25 peeled/deveined gulf shrimp
- 1/2 stick salted butter
- 1 tsp worcestershire
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 lemon, divided
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp green onion, sliced, divided
- Cajun Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- In a large cast iron skillet, melt butter on medium-high heat.
- Add in worcestershire, hot sauce, lemon juice from half the lemon, garlic, half the green onion, and a heavy sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.
- Cook shrimp in the buttered skillet for about 2 minutes per side, or until opaque in the center.
- Remove from heat and plate with the pan sauce.
- Squeeze the other half of the lemon over the shrimp and garnish with the remaining chopped green onions.
