BBQ Shrimp

Catch & Cook Season 2: BBQ Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1lb, 21-25 peeled/deveined gulf shrimp
  • 1/2 stick salted butter
  • 1 tsp worcestershire
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 lemon, divided
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp green onion, sliced, divided
  • Cajun Seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large cast iron skillet, melt butter on medium-high heat. 
  2. Add in worcestershire, hot sauce, lemon juice from half the lemon, garlic, half the green onion, and a heavy sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. 
  3. Cook shrimp in the buttered skillet for about 2 minutes per side, or until opaque in the center. 
  4. Remove from heat and plate with the pan sauce. 
  5. Squeeze the other half of the lemon over the shrimp and garnish with the remaining chopped green onions.
