Out of Grand Isle, the Gulf isn’t just where I work — it’s where I grew up.
My name is Chris Beard, and I’ve been fishing offshore for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are running out past the passes with my father, learning how to read the water, respect the weather, and fight a fish the right way. Offshore fishing isn’t something I picked up later in life — it’s part of who I am.
By trade, I’m an Electrical Field Engineer. That career has taught me discipline, preparation, and attention to detail — all things that matter when you’re 40+ miles offshore. But in 2024, I made the decision to pursue something bigger than a career: I started my own charter business to chase a dream and share my passion with others.
Today, I’m a proud husband and father of four, and I run every trip the same way I’d take my own family out — safely, professionally, and focused on creating memories that last long after the fillets are packed.
