Capt. Hunter Caballero holds the state record for Big Eye Tuna and was the mate who boated the State Record Yellowfin Tuna (caught by Capt. Scott Leger). Capt. Hunter has 10 years of experience fishing out of Venice, LA and is well accomplished in the professional angling world. Known for his patient demeanor and defined by his unparalleled capability to hone in on giant yellowfin tuna – Hunter is the founder of Paradise Outfitters and operates his charter out of a passion for sportfishing and desire to share legendary fishing expeditions with his clients. His expertise spans many sportfishing disciplines from catching bait and bottom fishing to big game trolling and kite fishing.

Having been featured in Saltwater Sportsman, Louisiana Sportsman, The Waterman’s Journal, and countless other fishing trades, Hunter is an accomplished angler holding over a dozen state records and was recently endorsed by Pelagic Gear as a Pro Team Captain.
