Captain Jack Payne III has been fishing in Louisiana, since he was a small child. He began running charters in 1996. His obsession with fishing started at a young age. He has finished in the top 10 in several red fish tournaments. He has based his whole career around fishing in Delacroix, La. He owns and operates a first-class lodge & marina- Sweetwater Marina & Lodging in Delacroix, La. He is quite literally the "Jack," of all trades. He operates the marina, does guided charter trips, maintains the lodge and marina grounds, goes shrimping or picks shrimp up from Burus, if necessary, to guarantee his customers are happy with their visit. He takes pride in his ability to share his love for fishing in and exploring Delacroix, with his customers. We are located merely 23 miles from The French Quarter in New Orleans, La. On his guided fishing trips, he targets 3 different species of fish: Redfish and Speckled Trout. Also, catching a mix of other species of fish, including bass, black drum and sheepshead. All charters are full day and are all inclusive. We provide ALL equipment, RodNreels, tackle, bait, fish cleaning and packaging. All you have to bring is lunch and drinks for you and your party and an ice chest to bring your packaged fish home. His boat is a 26' Kenner Bay Boat powered by a 300 HP Suzuki motor. The boat can roll out at over 50MPH. There is a live well for bait to keep shrimp, minnows, etc. alive. He also has a trolling motor, which helps with being able to move the boat, without scaring the fish away by starting the engine back up. His full day, all-inclusive charters are priced for up to 4 anglers, but you can add on a 5th angler (*for an additional fee). The reason for limiting himself to full day charters only is to ensure that his customers have the best possible chance to catch as many fish as they can. Captain Jack doesn't just take his customers out to try and catch fish, and if you catch nothing, say "well it's called fishing." He works so hard to ensure that his customers leave Sweetwater/Delacroix/Louisiana as happy as can be, and fully satisfied with doing business with him. His main priority in everything that he does is ensuring his customers are happy with their visit to Sweetwater Marina, fishing with him, and in Delacroix, La.

You can purchase a fishing license from the official Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries website, or call (888) 765-2602.
