Josh Gisclair

My name is Joshua Gisclair, and I am a full time local sight fishing guide. I was born and raised on Bayou Lafourche. I have spent many years fishing the local waters. Having had a fishing pole in my hand since I was a child, it's no wonder fishing quickly became not just a pasttime for me but rather my greatest passion and quite frankly an absolute obsession.

At Shallow Sights, I will always aim to give my clients the best fishing experience. While my favorite areas to fish are out of Galliano and Pointe Aux Chene, where we fish each trip will depend on what you want to target, the time of year, and current fishing conditions. I will always strive to bring you to where the fish are that day, so that you get the most out of your trip. I look forward to trips with seasoned anglers as well as beginners and everybody else in between.
