If you're looking for a unique Louisiana experience, Captain Steve is now offering fly fishing. It is a magnificent and challenging way to target Redfish. 

When chartering from Cypremort Point, Captain Steve has a waterfront camp available for rent. The camp is fully equipped and can be rented on a per night basis.

As a small boy I fished all of South Louisiana with my father Jessie Smith. In 1981 I took up Go-kart racing and was competitive on a Regional and National level. Then I began driving Sprint Cars and competed in the ASCS, American Sprint Car Series. After Sprint Car racing I trained for and completed my first Ironman Triathlon in 2001. At the time I owned and operated a small oilfield consulting business. 

In 2009 I decided to pursue the passion of my childhood and become a fulltime fishing guide. I acquired my USCG Master's Captain License. I'm a lifetime member of CCA (Coastal Conservation Association) and a member of the LCBA (LA Charter Boat Association). 
 
I was featured in (and on the cover of) Gerald Horst's book about La guides...Trout Masters Too: How the Pros Do It. Presently I am fishing in the LA Saltwater Series...a competitive Redfish tournament and was named 2013 Saltwater Series Team of the Year. Option 1
