Lewis Williams from Texas is back with me and brought Jimmy Ford with him. We found shrimp running for their lives with the specks in hot pursuit first thing in the morning. Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad under a cork worked best as only a few fell victim tight lined. We had 55 specks on ice and had hooked several bull reds before the smoke cleared. One bull red I hooked had 126 spots, it's getting mounted. We made a move to a reef and found some 13-15 inch fish and finished off our limit adding a slot red also. Incredible weather and bite, great time with these guys.
