Slick calm conditions today made the run easy as can be. The bite was early as we had doubles and singles flying into the Bluewave right off the bat. Nice solid trout up to 21 inches. Matrix Shad Shrimp Creole and Avocado had those trout going nuts. At 7:30 we had a nice box of trout when the bite slowed. We made one more move and picked up maybe a dozen more and called it a day at 9 because the guys had to be in early. If you plan on fishing the coast make sure you wear pants as the flies are thick.
