Had the pleasure to guide regulars Donnie, Butch, & Wheeler.
 
We left out of the Delta Marina in Empire, LA with the wind blowing 15 to 20 mph from the east on Saturday. It was a no brainer to fish the west side of the Mississippi River for Redfish on a day such as this.
 
The tide was high to my liking, enabling us to fish the shallow oyster flats.
 
The redfish bite was incredible on the flats as the guys had a great day catching Redfish after Redfish all morning.
 
My deckhand Heather & I caught a few on this trip.
 
All of the Redfish were caught on live shrimp fished shallow under a popping cork.
