During this past month we were doing alot of bull red fishing due to the wind and weather. There were very few days that i had trips that the wind was good enough to go chase specks but on the days that we did have favorable conditions we done very well with them. We caught plenty of undersised fish on those days which in my opinion it shows what kind of upcoming trout season we will have on the coastline. Otherwise we were catching plenty of bull reds with on our best days we caught and released upwards of 80 to 90 of them and on our so called bad days we were catching from 12 to 15 of them so i would say they are definatly biting. This pattern should continue through April.
