Pre fishing for trout in the Lower Mermentau with good buddy Tony Johnson July 19th, found Trout on the north end of the River system. The fish were eating Matrix Shad Green Hornets on 1/4 ounce lead. Trout were also eating the Vudu Zombie RIP stik in Striped Mullet. We boxed 2 limits of Trout and 1 limit of Reds. The clean salty water has pushed up to the Catfish Locks. If you want to get in on the action give me a call.
