Leon Monceret and crew joined me today. I thought we would have a third day of crushing the reds, but the water came back up and they dispersed. We did put a handful on ice and released many undersized reds. The barometric pressure was down and water temps looked good for the trout to turn back on, but only a handful bit for us at our first location. We made a few moves with no luck so we soaked some shrimp and put some Bay Snapper in the box. Midday with the water temps rising we found a shallow flat and the trout cooperated. Limbo Slice Matrix Shad tight lined slowly went to work putting a decent mess together before we had to head in. Thanks again Leon for the repeat business.
