Red October in Shell Beach. Saturday I had Craig, Jay, JD, and Gene Easterly on the Blazer Bay. The wind was blowing really hard as we left the dock, so it was going to be a redfish kind of day. We headed into the marsh and stopped in a pond I turned into on accident the day before. I turned into it and realized I missed the pass I was heading for, but while turning around it looked so good I just had to give it a shot another day. It paid off big time. We hit two points in the pond and loaded up with pretty reds. It was a blast watching them blow up on the 4-Horsemen corks. Fun day with a great bunch of guys.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo’s live shrimp under a 4-Horsemen cork on Capt. Rory's United Charters custom rods provided by CUI Products with Penn reels, spooled with KastKing line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Jus Grab it Glove.
