It was a hot weekend but the reds responded just the way we like them to. They are making their annual track to deeper, cooler water. They are favoring cracked crab Carolina rigged. This will be the pattern thru September. In addition to catching the reds there are plenty of puppy drum out there too. My crews this past weekend had a blast with the line peeling reds and were able to finish early due to the extreme heat we had. The reds are primarily 22-27 inches but there are a few 18 inchers out there. Give me a call for your next trip.
