SPECK-TACULAR BIRTHDAY TRIP! This morning we had the pleasure to guide Tristan Wilson and his mother Diane from New Orleans. It was Diane's birthday and Tristan brought his mother fishing with us for her birthday. WHAT A GREAT PRESENT! We left out of the Delta Marina early this morning with the weather looking beautiful. We started off the morning with calm, clean water and steady puttingSpeckled Trout in the boat. Suddenly the strong winds were upon us shutting Tristan and Diane down with 30 pretty Specks on ice. I made a move to another fishing spot with a good reef that was protected from the wind and BAM! As the wind strengthened Tristan and Diane put another 20 big fat SpeckledTrout in the boat.
