EARLY MORNINGSPECKLED TROUTFRENZY! We had the group of Texans on board for day 2 of their trip with us. We left out of the Delta Marina inEmpire, LA early this morning. The weather was looking beautiful once again. The wind was calm, the tide was very high and falling out. Just the way we like it once again. It was one stop and only one stop again this morning. We stopped on a shallow water oyster reef and began a drift. On the first cast everybody was hooked up. We stuck the Power pole and the Stiffy and went to work. Kenny, Joel, and Billy fished live shrimp under a popping cork and I tightlined soft plastics. The SpeckledTrout got into a Frenzy and at 8:00 am we had 100 beautiful Trout on ice in the Yeti. MANY THANKS AND GREAT JOB GUYS! GREAT JOB BY DECKHAND HEATHER ONCE AGAIN! FISH WERE FLYING OVER THE GUNNEL FASTER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE! We will be out again tomorrow with another group.
