Escape Fishing Charter was established in 1982 and I can tell you fishing is our business and we take it very seriously. We operate out of the small fishing village of Shell Beach, La. which is about 40 miles southeast of New Orleans and we are the oldest charter service in the area. In the spring and summer months we target the larger fish in the deeper outer bays with their numerous oil and gas platforms where speckled trout, redfish and other fish can be found. In the fall and winter we catch trout and redfish in the shallow marshes which average 3 to 5 feet in depth and surround the Shell Beach area. These are pristine saltwater marshes with an abundance of wildlife such as alligators, snakes, birds, racoons, muskrat, nutria and wild ducks, just to name a few. When you fish in these marshes a camera is a must. This is one of the reasons we are called "The Sportsman's Paradise".
We provide you with top quality tackle and guarantee that you will catch fish and have a great time doing it. We have two 24 foot bay boats which can take up to 5 people each and we will make some great memories for you. We are licensed by the U.S.C.G, the State of Louisiana and are Insured. If you are a novice we will give you instruction to help make your odds of catching fish greater, you catch em, we'll net em.
