Day 1 with the anonymous crew back onboard the Bluewave. We started out the morning catching specks every cast on double rigged Matrix Shad. Only problem was out of 150 fish we kept 11. We left these fish biting and went to see if the reds were biting. We waited patiently for a hour and a half soaking crabs with only one big black drum to show for it. Back to the trout we went. We found some birds sitting on the water with shrimp skipping the water around them. Two at a time every cast as soon as the baits hit the water and all keepers. We put 35 keepers on ice within 10 minutes then our bite quit. We switched to shrimp creole under a cork and began catching again. The guys pulled it off catching their limit with no problem.
