March 8 week…. The Convict fish AKA Sheepshead are spawning. They’re thick as thieves on nearshore platforms, as well as several in the marsh. Now is the time to book a meat haul if you’re about to host a fish fry. Marsh reds are scattered, but starting to move out to saltier water and should become very prolific soon.
