Meat hauling fun in Shell Beach. Forrest Fife and Sean Stuckey came down for another round of crab eating and fishing. They cooked and ate some pretty crabs the night before at the lodge and in the morning we headed into the Sound. They really were not too interested in trout, so I hit some rigs I have not fished this year. We bounced around a few spots and found a few trout, but plenty of the other creatures they were looking for. Good eating sized reds along with bulls mixed in and plenty sheepshead. We made a stop in the marsh on the way in and the guys topped off the box. Then it was back to crab boiling for them.
I have some openings the next couple of weeks and the fishing is really good right now. Don’t forget, Fall is fast on its way and some of the best fishing of the year comes with it. Get your dates locked in and don’t miss out. Call now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo’s live shrimp under a 4-Horsemen cork on Capt. Rory's United Charters custom rods provided by CUI Products with Penn reels, spooled with KastKing line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Jus Grab it Glove.
