We have been real busy catching redfish this past week. The winds were up early in the week making the outside waters dirty and the trout bite real inconsistent so we spent the time in our marsh with the gators. There is a lot of grass in the marsh and the reds are running the edges. Great numbers of reds are being caught on Matrix Shad Green Hornet and Tiger Bait on gold spinners. If we don't have our limit by the time the bite slows we have been switching over to fresh shrimp under a cork. A couple of trips we have also had time to chase the marsh bass for the sweet white meat. Avocado brush hogs have been the ticket for the green trout.
