Left the marina about 6 am headed to our first stop picked up about four yellow mouth specs when the fog started to set in. Made a decision to go and sit on the white Trout hole until the fog lifted, soon after arriving there we started catching specs on one side of the boat with double rig cocahoes and big nice golden white trout on the otherside with double rig tipped with shrimp. We also landed a 29inch bull red on ten pound test in the mist of the action as a bonus. As the fog lifted around 9:30am we decided to go look for drag stiping reds in the ponds fishing the slews and points. On the first stop we picked up about three beautiful reds started working the pond seeing reds swirling all over, made a few more stops in the same pond picked up another nine 8 to 10 pound reds with 2 drums and a sheephead. Total on specs for today was 50, with 40 nice golden white trout another great fall fishing day in Cocodrie.
