Red snapper fishing out of Venice, Louisiana has been excellent lately, with consistent limits being caught in as little as 30 feet of water when weather conditions allow us to get offshore safely.
The combination of clean water and steady bait activity has made for some fast action on recent trips, with quality snapper being caught daily around shallow structure and state water rigs. Anglers fishing with FishNLA Fishing Charters have been seeing strong numbers of keeper fish along with opportunities at mixed offshore species throughout the Gulf.
One of the biggest advantages of fishing out of Venice is the quick access to productive offshore waters, allowing us to spend more time fishing and less time running. As we move deeper into the season, the red snapper bite should continue staying strong whenever weather windows line up.
