Captain Calvin Duvalle

Captain Calvin F. Duvalle grew up fishing, hunting, and shrimping the waters of Southeast Louisiana with his father. His father Big Cal was a commercial fisherman and shrimper in the area. Captain Cal discovered his love for fishing just like most kids sitting on the canal bank perch jerkin. His dad used to bring him to Hwy. 11 to catch lake runners at the ripe old age of 3. Growing up Captain Cal's family owned camps on both the East and West side of the Mississippi River. It was at these camps that he started to learn different techniques that improved his odds of catching fish. These techniques that were learned increased his productivity and interest in the sport. Every day that he is on the water and around other anglers is a learning experience. This is what he wants to pass on to new fisherman and to seasoned anglers alike. The most important thing to him is the memories and friendships that are made out on the water.
