It was my pleasure to fish with Mr Roger Bourgeois of Houma and his friend Tom Hammerberg from Georgia. The guys wanted to catch redfish and It didn’t take Roger long to hook up with the first one at our second stop. Then we had a dry spell hitting 4 more locations with plenty big black drum but no reds. I told them to be patient and we would get on the reds when the tide switched. Around 10:30 the tide started falling and the fish cooperated. We caught a dozen reds very quickly and it slowed down as the winds were ripping 20-25 mph. Glad the guys stuck it out and were rewarded with a nice box of fish. Good luck fishing!
