Bill Lake

Bill Lake, a native of Houma, La., grew up fishing the fresh and saltwater marshes of Terrebonne Parish. After 30 years of successful fishing, he has learned to narrow his focus to trophy speckled trout and redfish. Most of his effort & expertise is expended in the inland/coastal waters of Bayou Dularge and Cocodrie. The Sister Lake-Lake Mechant area out of Bayou Dularge offer great springtime, fall and winter fishing for specks and reds. During the summer months of May-August, one can find Capt. Bill combing the adjacent Louisiana barrier islands and the numerous rigs/platforms scattered throughout the ship-shoal area in search of mule speckled trout! Bull redfish can be caught on a regular basis all summer long near the tidal passes of Timbalier and Last Island. One can also expect to catch black drum, flounder, white trout, sheepshead and many other variety's of fish that inhabit the Louisiana coastline. The camp is on the waterfront of Bayou Dularge and is 1920 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms & 2 baths. Sleeps 10 people comfortably.

Camp is for Bayou Guide Service guests only. Everything furnished including towels & bed linens. Full kitchen with all pots, pans, coffee pot, silverware, plates, cups and all utensils. Seafood boiler set up with 80Qt pot and BBQ pit included. Very comfortable custom bunk style beds. A quiet peaceful atmosphere surrounds the camp. A great place to unwind & relax. Large dining/living room with 65 in. satellite TV. All amenities of home, just bring yourself.
