Duck season in Venice, Louisiana wrapped up on a strong note this year. With steady migration moving down the Mississippi Flyway, we saw consistent bird numbers throughout much of the season, especially across the marsh ponds and shallow grass flats surrounding the river delta.

What makes Venice unique is the ability to combine opportunities. Many guests took advantage of cast and blast trips — starting the morning in the duck blind and finishing the afternoon chasing redfish. With healthy marsh habitat and strong fish activity, it continues to be one of the most versatile outdoor destinations in the state.

As we look ahead to next season, booking requests are already coming in for guided duck hunts and cast and blast trips in Venice. For those planning ahead, you can find more details about our upcoming waterfowl offerings here:  guided duck hunting trips in Venice, Louisiana

We’ll continue sharing updates as we move into spring fishing patterns and begin preparing for the next waterfowl season.
